Cold outreach nearly broke me

Why I stopped forcing conversations and started scaling honesty.

Hey friend,

A few months ago, I opened up my outreach tracker, a messy Google Sheet filled with half-written notes, cold DM drafts, and red-highlighted “Follow up?” rows.

I stared at it for 20 minutes.

Then I closed the tab.

Because the truth is…

I knew I wasn’t going to send anything that day.

I used to think that doing outreach manually made it more authentic.

More “real.” More “me.”

But what no one tells you is this:

Being real is hard when your brain is fried.

Most days, I’d open Twitter, find someone relevant, spend 10 minutes writing a message, rewrite it 5 times, then question if I should even send it.

Some days I’d get a reply and feel on top of the world.

Other days… silence.

And the spiral of “was it me?” would begin.

The inconsistency started eating at me.

The mental fatigue became background noise I just lived with.

Eventually, I realized:

This isn't how real conversations start.

They're not supposed to feel like uphill battles.

Or calendar tasks.

Or yet another thing on your plate.

So I started building something that could carry the weight for me.

Not to remove me from the process.

But to protect the part of me that still wanted to show up with honesty and care.

Now?

I write once, it gets sent with intention.

Replies feel warmer.

The pressure to “be on” every day? Gone.

And suddenly, cold outreach isn’t cold anymore.

If you’ve ever felt like your brain was working against you while trying to grow

I’ve been there. 👨‍💻

And we quietly built something that can help, especially if your energy is stretched thin.

P.S. If this sounds a little too familiar… You don’t have to push through it alone.

You can try it for free. No strings. Just see if it gives you a little more breathing room.
