- I almost gave up.
I almost gave up.
but that moment led to something better.
Heyyyyy friend,
A while back, I opened my outreach doc, a chaotic mix of DMs, half-ideas, and reminders I kept snoozing.
I stared at it for way too long.
Then I closed it.
Because deep down… I already knew nothing was getting sent that day. I used to believe that doing it all manually made it better — more thoughtful, more “me.”
But here’s what no one talks about:
It’s hard to be thoughtful when you’re mentally exhausted.
Most days, I’d scroll Twitter, find someone interesting, and then spend 15 minutes crafting a message I wasn’t even sure I’d send.
Sometimes it worked.
Other times, silence.
And the silence hit harder than it should’ve.
The inconsistency wore me down.
The overthinking became the norm.
Until I realized, real conversations don’t start from burnout.
They don’t come from anxiety.
They come from clarity and presence.
Now?
I send with intention.
I get replies that feel human.
And I don’t dread the process anymore.
Outreach feels like a connection again, not a chore.
If you’ve ever felt like your energy is the bottleneck to your growth…
You’re not alone.
Talk soon,
